Rudeness

I had to deliver some Modems & Routers to a local computer store. It’s always hard to get a parking space on their busy city centre street.

Oh yeah great, the Loading Zone is free when the Google Earth Street View Camera Car goes past. Good one Google, typical Global Giant, make the little guy look like a liar.

Therefore, I always go to their customer carpark at the rear of the store which only small & is also shared by several other shops.

When I arrived there last Friday all the parking spaces were taken. There was a rich looking woman in some flashy expensive car double parked behind another car which was in front of the store’s rear entry. An employee was helping her load a computer into the back seat of her car. As they were chatting & I was only gunna be quick I parked right behind her & said “I’ll only be a minute”.

I delivered the carton & the employee was just coming back in as I was leaving the store. I returned to my delivery ute.(Short for utility, which is what we call a pickup truck)

The rich cow frowned at me as I walked past her. Being the nice kinda guy that I am I politely said to her, “Sorry for holding you up, I was just making a quick delivery”. (Remember that she was parked behind someone else too)

She rudely replied snarled “You should be sorry for your poor parking skills”.

Unbelievable!!!

I bit my tongue & said nothing in reply. Instead I just glared at her with the piercing stare of death, got in my vehicle & left. I really could’ve done with some help from Margaret’s Dalek right about then

This is just one example of people’s rudeness which I seem to come across so often.

Aren’t so many peoples attitudes & manners so rude, arrogant & obnoxious these days??? I’m sure most if not all of  those reading this have had many similar experiences.

I think it takes more effort to be rude & horrible to someone than to just be polite. What do you think??? What examples of people’s rudeness have you encountered lately????
